See how IO brings cloud platforms, enterprise security, and AI into operation through focused technical engagements.

Featured enterprise engagement

Establish control.
Enable enterprise AI.

Discuss AI readiness

The challenge

A large enterprise faced growing compliance concerns as employees adopted AI tools without consistent organizational controls. Leadership needed to understand which services were in use, what information employees were sharing, and how to enable an approved AI platform with appropriate data protection and ongoing oversight.

01 / AI Readiness Assessment

Discover the use. Understand the exposure.

IO investigated desktop and browser AI activity across the assessed environment, identified the applications and models in use, and evaluated the types of prompts and data employees were submitting. The assessment established a clearer picture of exposure and priorities for remediation.

02 / AI Foundation Implementation

Build governance into the data foundation.

We established a governed data foundation and its supporting controls before enabling the approved AI deployment. This work aligned the data layer, access boundaries, and governance requirements to support controlled use of organizational information.

03 / Approved Copilot deployment

Enable AI with defined guardrails.

IO implemented the company-approved Microsoft Copilot environment with compliance and data-protection guardrails supported by Microsoft Purview, giving employees an approved path for AI use within the organization’s governance requirements.

04 / Enforcement & ongoing oversight

Restrict unapproved AI. Monitor what changes.

We implemented blocking and access restrictions for unapproved AI services within the managed environment and established ongoing Shadow AI monitoring to identify emerging unauthorized use.

The outcome

A governed foundation for enterprise AI.

The client moved from unmanaged adoption to an approved operating model: clearer visibility into AI activity, a controlled data foundation, Copilot with Purview-supported guardrails, and continuing oversight of unauthorized AI use.

01 / Acquisition integration

500 users.
One enterprise environment.

Microsoft AzureMicrosoft 365Identity
500Users integrated

The engagement

Following a corporate acquisition, IO architected and executed the integration of a 500-user organization into the parent company’s Microsoft Azure environment.

The work brought identity, collaboration, and co-located infrastructure together while maintaining operational continuity with zero disruption to users.

What IO delivered

  • Microsoft 365 identity, mailbox, and authentication migration
  • OneDrive and SharePoint consolidation
  • Integration of co-located infrastructure into Azure architecture
  • Continuity across the transition for end users

The outcome

A unified identity, collaboration, and infrastructure platform aligned to the parent organization’s enterprise security standards.

02 / Compliance readiness

A stronger foundation
for CMMC Level 2 readiness.

GCC HighMicrosoft AzureSecurity controls
L2CMMC readiness

The engagement

IO led a CMMC Level 2 readiness initiative that moved a client from a commercial Microsoft 365 tenant and legacy on-premises infrastructure into a GCC High environment.

The engagement combined migration work with tenant hardening and architecture aligned to the client’s compliance requirements.

What IO delivered

  • Identity migration to Azure AD, now Microsoft Entra ID
  • Secure tenant configuration and Azure workload migration
  • Logging, monitoring, and access controls supporting CMMC readiness
  • Security architecture aligned to compliance requirements

The outcome

A cloud environment with security controls in place to support CMMC Level 2 readiness and ongoing operations.

03 / Cloud consolidation

From fragmented platforms
to a unified cloud.

Google WorkspaceAWS to AzureMicrosoft 365
300Users migrated

The engagement

A 300-user organization needed to bring its Google Workspace collaboration environment and AWS infrastructure into Microsoft 365 and Azure.

IO executed the migration across users, data, and workloads, standardizing identity and security throughout the environment.

What IO delivered

  • Migration of Google Workspace identities, mailboxes, and collaboration data
  • Transfer of Google Drive and shared data environments
  • Optimization and migration of AWS workloads into Azure
  • Standardized identity and security across the new environment

The outcome

A unified cloud architecture with improved security, reduced complexity, and greater operational efficiency.

04 / Enterprise AI integration

AI connected to the business.
Governance built in.

Enterprise AISSO & RBACData governance
AIEnterprise integration

The engagement

IO designed and implemented an enterprise AI platform for a mid-market organization, connecting cloud data sources and internal systems within a controlled access model.

The solution supported employee research, documentation, analysis, and operational workflows across departments.

What IO delivered

  • Enterprise AI deployment with security controls
  • Cloud data connectors for structured and unstructured information
  • Single sign-on, identity governance, and role-based access control
  • Secure data access layers to restrict sensitive information
  • Internal AI usage policies aligned to compliance and regulatory frameworks

The outcome

Employees gained access to AI for everyday business workflows, supported by identity controls, governed data access, and internal usage policies.
